Juguetes Perdidos has been winning all the plaudits in Latin American beer competitions in recent years, having won a multitude of category awards and Best Brewery in 6 regional shows in just the last 2 years as well as prizes in Europe (UK & Belgium and Japan). They produce a wide variety of beers, some classics, some experimental, mainly focused on IPAs, sours, tripels and porters, but also barrel-aged beers and highly inventive special editions.

Based in Caseros, on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, and with a second brewery in Catalonia, Spain, Juguetes Perdidos take an innovative, modern approach to brewing; they like to get involved in international collaborations and gypsy brewing projects. They have become famous across Latin America as hosts of the Festival de Cervezas Extremos (Extreme Beers Festival) annual invitational event.

“For us, brewing is an art and a great passion. We are determined not to lose the spirit of the Home Brewer. We invite you to enjoy our beers and hope that you will love them as we love to make them. To your health!

The Juguetes Perdidos range includes a mix of permanent titles and a rolling series of special editions. Permanent titles are inspired by various brewing traditions. Belgian-style beers (often with an Americano twist) – Passionfruit Saison, Jamaican Spice Dubbel, IPA, Abbey Tripel, a Mixed Fermentation Saison and a Sour Red Ale. US styles – Red Rye IPA, Imperial Red IPA, Double and Imperial IPA, New England IPA, West Coast IPA. British styles – English IPA, Imperial Stout, and German styles – Maibock and Doppelbock. Special editions are highly inventive including Tripel / Imperial IPA blends, Imperial Pastry stouts, Marzen Rauchbier, and Refreshing Gose Tonic.

We tasted their full range and were excited by every single beer. Write to us for full tasting notes. Picking out just 3 of our favourites:

Kill Your IPA – Blend of AK47 Imperial IPA & Belgian-style Tripel, Armagnac-barrel-aged.

Thick head, dark orange hazy, up front with citrus and pine hops, then a more mellow, less bitter finish, still potent but then much more aromatic, finishing with notes of orange marmalade, honey and fine French brandy. A beauty of a beer!

Sour Power – Flanders Sour Red Ale

Deep red ale, wonderful aroma of malt and dark stewed fruit, huge

bubbly body, gorgeous mouthfeel, depths of licorice, kvass, sweet fruit pie and refreshingly sour, so bubbly like champagne, long sweet and sour finish. A beer to lift the spirits on any occasion.

El Matador – 15 ABV Imperial Russian Stout, aged in Buffalo Trace Bourbon Barrels

Billowing caramel head, waft of coconut, brown sugar, mild aromatic coffee and luxurious bourbon biscuit, this beer kisses as it bites and cuddles afterwards. 15 degrees of alcohol, smooth as silk.

Winner of many Gold Medals & Best in Show, world-class beer.

Trade Winds says - Juguetes Perdidos would suit premium craft beer importers interested in diversifying their portfolio with a brewery of proven quality, exhibiting the very best beers from Latin America.
