La Mista wines are produced by two friends (Alan and Franco), who have an incredible passion for sustainability and quality wine-making. Their wines include Chardonnay and Torrontes whites. Both are great value - Chardonnay is floral with tropical fruit on the nose - more citric and refreshing on the tongue - very pleasant. Torrontes is deeper, more body, with a swirl of fruit salad that makes you smile. Malbec Rose is less acidic than many others - it is fruity (raspberry / strawberry), refreshing and so pleasant to drink. Criolla is an Argentinean speciality, light and fruity (cherries) red wine - excellent chilled! Their first Malbec has 6 months of oaking - an excellent balance of fruit (plums) and wood. Cabernet Franc is aged 8 months in oak barrels, and has a typical sweet entry with a spicy, dark and smokey finish - perfect for red meats. Malbec Crianza is excellent wine - 10-12 months of barrel aging - a wonderful blend of berry fruit, pepper, clove and balsamic notes. A fine wine from a truly excellent vineyard.
