Elegido, a Reserva wine, is a distinct blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat, and Merlot. Carlos Montes wines honor the oenologist’s father, showcasing traditional, expressive wines aged for 12 months in oak, including Merlot, Tannat, and a Cabernet-Tannat bi-varietal. Criado en Roble is a multi-award-winning collection sourced from select plots, with 15 months of aging for its Tannat and Blend (Tannat, Syrah, Merlot) labels. The Crudo series embodies a minimal intervention, experimental approach, made without sulfites, fining agents, or stabilizers. Crudo 1 is a pure Tannat, while Crudo 5 blends Tannat, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot. Crudo 6 is the same blend, but oak-aged. Barricado, aged for 8 months in oak, reveals its complexity.
