Pablo Fallabrino makes high-quality, minimally-intervention coastal wines. The family-run winery focuses on Piedmontese grapes, first planted in 1947. These wines have received awards and recognition, stand out and excite consumers.
Designed to produce great wines in small quantities, in 1998, the Fallabrino family built an ultra-modern winery. They like to make wine using forgotten or lesser-known ancient winemaking techniques; the results are often astonishing. Their Wine in Pureness range are minimal intervention wines: 100% grapes, no oak, no sulphites, with indigenous yeast. Some reviews and tastings: Alma Surfer Barbera Rose is bronze in colour, with flavours of red cherry, rose petals and plum. The orange wine El Elefante Pisador is dense, perfumed, layered and complex, with flavours of clementine, quince and black tea and an exciting length on the palate. Anarkia Tannat is aromatic, with intense aromas of dark fruits, such as blackberry and plum. The Chardonnay Arneis shows notes of ripe white peach, crushed stone, flint, pine nuts and white flowers. The Estival has ripe notes of lemon zest, white peach and green apple intertwined with white flowers, finishing with notes of candied peach. The Barbera is packed with blackberries, cherries and plums. Spicy, savoury and balsamic nuances, 91 points from Decanter magazine. Austros: Deep inky colour. Powerful and refined, great complexity, ripe tannins and an astonishing youthfulness. Angel’s Cuvee: Amarone-style raisined Tannat wine: strong earthy flavours of white truffle, accentuated with a gamey refinement, only found in a deep, wooded forest. These wines are great, innovative, exciting and the prices are very reasonable!
